The Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Medieval Times

February 26, 2012 09:11 PM by Veronica Dudo

On tonight’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, the celebrity contestants have to create and perform original shows for Medieval Times in front of a live audience and James Lipton makes a guest appearance for this task. Keep reading to find out who Donald Trump decides to fire!

Each contestant is competing to raise money and awareness for their charity. On season 12 of the reality TV competition, the last person standing will be hired as The Celebrity Apprentice and have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their charity.

The remaining 17 business-savvy celebrity contestants are Aubrey O’Day, Arsenio Hall, Adam Carolla, Clay Aiken, Dayana Mendoza, Debbie Gibson, Dee Snider, George Takei, Lisa Lampanelli, Lou Ferrigno, Michael Andretti, Patricia Velasquez, Paul Teutul Sr., Penn Jillette, Teresa Giudice, Tia Carrere and Victoria Gotti.

Last week, the men’s team “Unanimous” won and Paul Teutul Sr. was the Project Manager so his charity received a donation. This week, Paul got the opportunity to present a young boy who is in town visiting New York with a check for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The check is for almost a half of a million dollars and Paul says he is very happy to help make the wishes of other children possible.

This week, the teams are again split up–the men versus the women and the battle of the sexes continues! The challenge this week is for both teams to put on a Medieval Times show. Donald Trump announces that $40,000 will go to the winning project manager.

For the men’s team, Penn Jillette volunteers to be the Project Manager. Donald Trump explains that Adam Carolla will not be with them this week because he’s hosting a wedding. The men’s concept is to tell the story of a knight fighting for the hand of the fair maiden. They’re also planning on using a lot of comedy.

Over at team “Forte,” Lisa Lampanelli decides to be the Project Manager for the women. Their concept is “The Unreal Housewives of Camelot.” The women decide to feature Teresa Giudice of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey especially since Medieval Times is located in New Jersey.

Both teams will be graded on creativity and an over-all entertainment value by the audience. The men and women train with experts on sword fighting, staging and lighting. During dress rehearsal, the horse acts up and Dee Snider’s hand gets caught in the saddle. Dee decides that if he needs to go to the hospital, he will go after the show.

Team “Unanimous” and Team “Forte” perform their shows for the audience.

Back in the boardroom, Donald Trump meets with both teams to find out exactly who did what. Donald announces that “Unanimous” had the most votes therefore the men’s team wins again for the second week in a row. Project manager Penn Jillette will receive money for his charity.

It’s now time for Donald Trump to decide who from team “Forte” has to pack up their things and head home.  In the boardroom, Lisa freaks out saying how hard she worked and told Donald Trump that she gave Victoria the best job as director however Victoria didn’t accept. But, Victoria claims she was left out. Donald Trump asks Dayana Mendoza, who is also in the boardroom who she would like to work with–Victoria or Lisa? Dayana says she would rather work with Lisa. In the end Donald Trump fires Victoria Gotti.
