This week on Bravo, Tabatha Coffey tries to talk some sense into a Minneapolis salon owner before his staff walks out on him. But when the owner refuses to “get his head out of his a – -,” Tabatha ends up on the brink of walking out herself! Find out everything you missed on tonight’s episode of Tabatha Takes Over after the jump.
Tonight on Tabatha Takes Over….
Brian is the owner of H. Design salon in Minneapolis. As a stock broker, he looks at the salon as an investment, and doesn’t seem to have any desire to actually do what it takes to make H. Design successful; which is a problem for his employees.
One group of employees has already walked out on him, but before the next group goes, they call on Tabatha Coffey to see if she can talk some sense into Brian.
At the root of the problem, Brian’s just cheap and has no idea – or interest in – what’s going on at the salon.
The staff is beyond fed up with Brian and his penny-pinching, but he flat out refuses to listen. So, Tabatha surprises him by having some of his former stylists come talk to him about why they left.
After learning that his lack of communication was one of the major issues, Brian meets with each of his employees one-on-one (with Tabatha there watching, of course), and for the first time, shows that he’s genuinely interested in their feelings, and the salon as a whole…or so it seems.
Days later, H. Design re-opens with a brand new look, but will Brian debut his new attitude, or go back to his old ways.
Not even an hour into the day, Brian is already in his office and not answering his phone! (Nice.) And when the managers talk to him about putting the receptionist on probation for two weeks because she essentially doesn’t know how to do her job, he refuses and puts the blame on them.
Apparently, nothing that Tabatha has said got through to Brian, and it shows when she returns 6 weeks later to find that three of his employees (including one of the managers) have left, and more are considering leaving. The salon is a total ghost town and where is Brian? Upstairs in his office.
Oh well. You can’t save ‘em all!
