Whitney Houston’s Death To Be Ruled An Accident

February 29, 2012 02:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Whitney Houston tragically passed away a little over two weeks ago, from what has been speculated as a mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol gone wrong. While friends and family await the toxicology results, E! announced that the death of the Being Bobby Brown star is going to be ruled an accident. Read on for more…

In a press release regarding the death of pop superstar Whitney Houston, E! announced:

The pop icon’s sudden death on February 11, 2012 is expected to be officially ruled an accident, a source with knowledge of the ongoing investigation confirms exclusively to E! News. And that appears to be just what those close to Houston suspected would happen. The singer’s family always believed her death was accidental and was not a result of deliberate action taken by Houston—or anyone else, according to the insider.

While the actual cause of death was temporarily listed as “deferred” on Houston’s death certificate pending the result of toxicology tests, “nothing suspicious” has been found to connect any physicians or other people of interest to Houston’s case and the inquiry is nearing completion, the source says, adding: “she had no marks on her body whatsoever to indicate a struggle, and she was the furthest thing from trying to kill herself.”

The L.A. County Department of Coroner will not comment, citing the ongoing investigation. Our source says that the autopsy toxicology screen could be in the Beverly Hills Police Department’s hands by next week and, depending on the status of other elements of their investigation, the case could be closed very soon afterward.

Sources have told E! News that Houston had prescriptions for antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications, and a handful of pill bottles were reportedly found in her room at the Beverly Hilton, where she was found dead in the bathtub. One thing that isn’t on the BHPD’s plate is any investigation into who may have leaked photos of Houston’s death scene to the media. Contrary to a RadarOnline report, Lt. Mark Rosen tells E! News that no members of Houston’s family have reached out to them regarding any “death scene photos.”

I can’t believe you folks. My parent who are both 70 year old Caucasians never saw an episode of Being Bobby Brown, yet they knew Whitney Houston very well as a great singer. How dare you all refer to her as the star of being Bobby Brown as though she was just a talentless Kim Kardashian who is only known as a reality star who smooches of people who have no drive in life. Whitney offered a great craft with the world until she succumbed to a weakness we have come to know so well in this world today. You folks crack me up how you try to belittle people all the while making loads of money off them.

Well said FEMA! I just scrolled down to post similar thing but wouldn’t have said it better!! Never seen Being Bobby Brown(heard of it), yet I have all her records and a DVD edition of her famous movies. It’s quite likely that the author of this article is 17-years old at most if he/she knows her from that reality series only!

it is not yet time for her to go. there are so many great moments to share with her along with aspiring artists these days. bobby brown did not take care of her — she lost her amazing gifted voice and then suddenly passed away. i felt very devastated and saddened to watch her “i will always love you” performance when she was at her best and seen her concert a couple of years ago where she’s really trying to reach those high notes. but no matter what, i still respect her and will always love Whitney.
