Nick Cannon, who recently suffered from mild kidney failure, as well as blood clots in his lungs has been taking things slowly these days. Read on to hear what Nick Cannon had to say about his health scare!
Nick Cannon of America’s Got Talent announced last month that he was stepping down from his radio show, in an effort to take better care of himself after suffering from mild kidney failure, and blood clots in his lungs. In his first interview since both of the health scares, OK Magazine reports that Nick Cannon is doing much better these days. Nick revealed: “I thought it was them over-exaggerating. Like, ‘yeah right.’ And then when I had a couple more scares and things got serious, I was like ‘Okay, this isn’t a joke, like I’ve got to change the way I’m living my life.’”
And Nick took the warnings about changing his life very seriously, after all he does have two children now. “Well, the main thing was the radio show, so I don’t have to get up at 4 in the morning anymore. Now I get six hours of sleep at least, and then I’m on a very strict diet, like, it’s called a renal diet. I’ve got to drink lots of water, like a gallon of water a day, and good exercise. Not too much exercise, but just enough,” Nick Cannon said of how he has changed his lifestyle. Nick also gushed that his wife, Mariah Carey takes very good care of him!
