Kim Kardashian may have won her last lawsuit, but the reality star in for another battle. In fact, the star of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, along with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, are being sued over some false claims they made regarding the diet pills that the trio were promoting. According to TMZ, the Kardashian girls are facing a $5 million dollar lawsuit over the QuickTrim diet pills that they had been endorsing and claiming worked wonders for them. A group of unhappy consumers in New York are suing the sisters, as well as QuickTrim as they claim there is no way the pills helped the Kardashians lose weight. TMZ goes on to claim that in the lawsuit it states: “The FDA has determined caffeine is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control,” and caffeine appears to be the main ingredient in the product.
The lawsuit goes on to claim that Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian made false claims about the product helping them lose weight through magazines, television and social media sites for the past three years. The angry customers explained that they would not have purchased the product if they knew beforehand that the Kardashians were lying. Come on, who in their right mind would honestly believe anything out the Kardashians’ mouths? Not to mention the fact that they could have researched the product before purchasing it!
