Cee Lo Green has some big plans in store after wrapping up this season of NBC‘s The Voice. The award-winning artist is getting ready to star in his own show at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood — “Loberace.” Keep reading for all the details.
The Voice‘s Cee Lo Green is moving to Sin City, but not just for the glitz and glamor (and girls).
Known for his bigger-than-life performances, the singer is making the move in preparation for his upcoming show, “Loberace,” which will take place at Planet Hollywood from August 29th through the end of 2012.
“Loberace” promises to “combine Cee Lo’s flamboyant sense of style and over-the-top creativity,” offering musical tributes to artists from Prince to the Rolling Stones, and will also feature “mind-twisting magic and sexified showgirls.”
Yup…sounds like Cee Lo.
“I love the city. I can’t wait to be a part of it. I can’t wait to be officially there,” the “F**k You” singer tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Having recently starred in a commercial for Sin City, Green is hoping to keep Las Vegas at the top of everyone’s list of favorite destinations for years to come.
“From this generation I would just like to be able to carry on, and pick up the torch and continue to make Vegas a place to be.”
