Lauren Alaina To Guest Star On New Aerosmith Album

Last week on FOX‘s American Idol live results show, we not only saw the elimination of Jeremy Rosado, but season 10′s runner-up, Lauren Alaina took the stage to perform. After the show, Lauren Alaina revealed that she will be guest starring on Aerosmith’s new album! Read on for the scoop…

American Idol fans watched the live results show week, where season 10 runner-up, Lauren Alaina took the stage with a rocking performance of her new single, Georgia Peaches. After the show, Lauren Alaina posted on Twitter: “Yesterday: returned to idol & then went to the studio to record background vocals for the new Aerosmith record. #ISTHISREAL?Thank u Steven!” Aerosmith is currently working on this new album, which is set for release this spring.

And Steven Tyler may tie in Aerosmith even more with American Idol, as the band’s guitarist, Brad Whitford recently told The Times News: “I think people are going to see a lot of Aerosmith later in the year. We’ve got a new song that’s gonna be used in a major motion picture this summer, so that’s probably the first new music fans will get to hear. We may even debut it on American Idol in May.”

    A duet with Steven Tyler and Lauren Alain would be OMG just unbelievable. They both are such great entertainers. They both have great voices and both have a lot of charisma, energy, and spunk!!
