The Bachelor finale aired last night on ABC. All the rumors were confirmed when Ben Flajnik gave Courtney Robertson the final rose and an engagement ring. The After The Final Rose special answered a lot of questions regarding the status of the couple’s relationship. Keep reading for more details and learn why Ben is done with reality TV.
The Bachelor season finale definitely wasn’t a shocker, but everyone still tuned in to watch Ben Flajnik propose to Courtney Robertson. Fans were more curious to find out if this controversial couple was still together. On the After The Final Rose Special Courtney Robertson was in tears when she told Chris Harrison that Ben had “abandoned” her for short period of time during the airing of The Bachelor. Courtney explained that everything was fine between them, until the show began to air. It seems Ben couldn’t take the pressure of the media and chose to take a break from Courtney instead of standing by her. When Chris Harrison aired the clip of the couple’s engagement, both Ben and Courtney were in tears. As for the rumors about Ben cheating on Courtney, Ben swore on his dad’s grave they were untrue. Both Ben and Courtney expressed their love for one another and told America they want to make their relationship work, out of the spotlight. You could tell Courtney was still hurt that Ben “abandoned” her, but she put back on the engagement ring.
Ben Flajnik was very nervous before the special and relieved when it was over. Ben is happy that his time as the bachelor is over and is ready to just have a normal relationship with Courtney. After the special Ben tweeted his followers, “it’s over! Thanks all you bachelor fans for the love. No more reality TV for me…ahhhh #done.”
I guess two proposals aired on national TV is enough for Mr. Flajnik. Do you think Ben and Courtney have a chance of making it to the altar? We know you have an opinion, so let’s hear it!
