Tonight on Bravo, things at Tamra‘s Bunco party get even more heated when Slade and Vicki…and Gretchen go head-to-head-to-head. Whose side will Tamra take? Find out everything you missed in this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County after the jump.
This week on The Real Housewives of Orange County, the men of the OC have arrived at Tamra’s Bunco party to join in on the fun, but as hilarious as their 80s costumes are, Vicki’s not laughing.
Not able to stand Slade’s smug attitude about his hilarious comedy routine (and we use the term loosely), Vicki finally asks him if he thinks that what he did was funny, which sparks a very heated exchange that only gets worse when Gretchen gets involved, defending her man.
Vicki eventually leaves, not want to deal with the drama when she could be home with her daughter.
Gretchen and Tamra talk the situation out like good BFFs do (still so surreal), but Tamra still doesn’t see how Slade’s comments were in any way justified.
Luckily, the conversation turns to something a little less controversial — like Alexis’ upcoming nose job.
Gretchen mentions that Alexis is having surgery, which Tamra quickly scoffs at, saying that she needs to stop running around telling everyone it’s about her sinuses and own up to the fact that she’s getting a nose job. Heather’s husband, not knowing who they were talking about, innocently adds that the sinuses are under the eyes and not in the nose, which Alexis overhears, and starts blasting everyone for talking about her, saying that she’s well aware of where her sinuses are, but she’s getting her nose done at the same time since she’ll already be under the knife.
EVERYONE has told Alexis that she misunderstood the entire conversation, but she’s still in tears, asking Gretchen why she didn’t have her back.
Who knew Bunco could cause so much trouble?!
The next day, Gretchen gets a text from Vicki telling her that she “won’t tolerate” her talking about Brooks and that she doesn’t condone men not paying child support, which only makes Gretchen and Slade even more angry.
Hoping to smooth things over after the blowup, Tamra heads to Vicki’s office and explains to her that the entire situation was awkward for her, being in the middle of it all. Vicki is adamant that she isn’t being hypocritical about Brooks because he has a job, and therefore can support his kids, arguing that Gretchen condones Slade’s unemployment (though technically, he does work…for her), and in doing so is essentially saying that it’s okay for him not to support his children. (Huh?)
Tamra is trying hard to understand Vicki’s point of view, but can’t ignore that Brooks WENT TO JAIL for not paying his child support, and it doesn’t make sense for her to be so hard on Slade, but still defend Brooks.
At the end of the day, Vicki says that she’s going to “handle” Gretchen, and will eventually apologize, but expects Gretchen to do the same.
Meanwhile, Alexis is getting prepped for her surgery and extremely emotional, worried that she won’t wake up.
Vicki;s daughter is also prepping for surgery, but one that’s much more serious. Right now, the doctors suspect that it could be two different types of cancer, but they’ll only know for sure after the thyroid has been removed.
How will everything turn out?
