Celebrity Apprentice‘s Donald Trump Jr. recently angered animal enthusiasts when he revealed some controversial photos of a big game hunting trip that occurred last year with his brother, Eric. Apparently, Donald and Eric Trump have angered more than just animal lovers, as one of Celebrity Apprentice‘s sponsors is pulling out and taking their money elsewhere. Read on for the scoop.
As we reported earlier this week, Donald Trump Jr. and his brother, Eric went on a hunting safari in Zimbabwe last year, where the two killed everything from an elephant, crocodile, civet cat and water buck. Donald Trump Jr. posted some photos of the trip, including himself holding the tail of an elephant in one hand, and a knife in the other, which outraged some wildlife enthusiasts. Donald Trump Jr. defended the pictures, claiming that he eats game, and he fed a village with those animals. Later, his father jumped in to defends his sons as well, claiming whatever they did was “100% okay.”
But animal enthusiasts were not the only ones outraged by the photos, as TMZ has learned one of the sponsors of Celebrity Apprentice will be jumping ship after seeing the pictures. Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, who has already aired several commercials during the show, told TMZ: “I am totally disgusted by the [hunting] pics I have seen and was surprised to see them. Money is spent but wow I’m really shocked,” adding: “I wouldn’t spend another nickel with them.”
