Kim Kardashian was “flour bombed” yesterday at the launch party for her new fragrance. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had flour poured over her head by a woman on the red carpet. Was the flour bomb a practical joke or was the act planned by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Keep reading to find out what PETA had to say about the Kim Kardashian flour incident.
PETA has been very vocal about their dislike of Kim Kardashian’s fashion choices that include fur. In 2010 PETA named Kim Kardashian the worst dressed celebrity. Then in November PETA launched a billboard that read,”KIM, These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?”
So did PETA plan the flour incident on Kim Kardashian? PETA told E! News they had absolutely no involvement in the flour incident. PETA released a statement to E! News saying they have tried numerous polite efforts to inform Kim how animals are hurt to obtain their fur. In regards to the flour incident PETA told E!, “Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.”
Kim Kardashian handled the flour bomb remarkably well. The E! reality star was escorted off by security, but was back doing interviews within minutes! It’s a good thing Khloe Kardashian Odom wasn’t there, because she wouldn’t have been so calm about it! Yesterday Khloe tweeted, “I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet that woman wouldn’t have dared tried a thing.”
