The reality TV competition Celebrity Apprentice is now down to 12 business-savvy celebrity contestants who are each competing to raise money and awareness for their charity. The last person standing will be hired as the Celebrity Apprentice and will have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their charity. Keep reading to meet NBC contestant Lou Ferrigno!
This season’s cast includes Aubrey O’Day, Arsenio Hall, Clay Aiken, Dayana Mendoza, Debbie Gibson, Dee Snider, Lisa Lampanelli, Lou Ferrigno, Patricia Velasquez, Paul Teutul Sr., Penn Jillette and Teresa Giudice.
Ferrigno is an internationally famous bodybuilder and actor. He first burst onto the entertainment scene appearing on television as “The Incredible Hulk,” the alter ego of scientist Bruce Banner. Then, in the 2008 film he was the voice of The Hulk along with a star-studded cast. He also provided voiceover for the UPN animated series The Incredible Hulk. Ferrigno has had guest-starring roles on numerous television shows such as King of Queens and My Wife and Kids. He is the spokesman for Nestle USA, Inc. and the Sit Up-Sit Down Home Gym.
For over 15 year, Ferrigno was pop icon Michael Jackson’s personal trainer and long-time friend. Ferrigno made numerous TV appearances in honor of Jackson and is credited on the Michal Jackson movie, This Is It.
Ferrigno lives in California with his family.
