Gavin DeGraw was in the bottom two last night on the hit ABC show, Dancing With The Stars. Gavin DeGraw and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, barely escaped elimination and watched as Martina Navratilova had her last dance. Keep reading to find out what Gavin DeGraw thought about being in the bottom two.
It was the dreaded elimination night on DWTS, because no star wants to be the first one sent home. The bottom two stood on stage, while the dramatic music played and Tom Bergeron dragged out the final announcement. In the end, Martina Navratilova and Tony Dovolani earned the title first to be sent home. Tony Dovolani tweeted his fans, “I am so proud of @Martina what an awesome person to work with. Devastated right now that I could not take her further.”
So how did Gavin DeGraw feel about being in the bottom two? Gavin didn’t realize the full pressure of elimination night, until he was standing in the bottom two. The singer is used to being on stage, but not having the fear of being eliminated! Gavin shared with E! News, “Had I known it was going to be that stressful and I was going to have that many palpitations, I would’ve taken an aspirin before I went out there on stage.” The singer even joked that he watched his dancing career flash before his eyes.
There is no doubt Karina Smirnoff, who took home the mirror ball trophy last season, is going to push Gavin DeGraw very hard next week.
