This week on NBC‘s The Biggest Loser, the contestants got a visit from some past contestants, and then they learned that exercise does not have to be boring. Despite having a great week of workouts, Megan Stone did not get a good number on the scale, and was eliminated. In her post elimination interview, Megan dished on her experience, and she even feels that we have not given Conda Britt a chance this season! No, we are not kidding! Read on for more from Megan…
The Biggest Loser fans watched this week as Megan Stone was eliminated just a week after her mother was sent packing. Since being home, Megan has become engaged to her boyfriend, and has been able to ride her horse again. As the show closed this week, we also learned that Conda Britt will one of Megan’s bridesmaids in her upcoming wedding – so what are we missing in Conda, that the contestants see? Megan explained – check out her interview below!
Question: Why did you ask Conda to be in your wedding, and what is it about her that viewers are possibly missing?
Megan Stone: I am actually very close with Conda, we were friends from the beginning. She is the sweetest person, and I love her to death. We were two peas in a pod on the ranch, who helped each other, and she is a great friend. As for what viewers are missing…I don’t know. America has not really given her a fair chance. Everyone has a different approach on this journey, and maybe America should not be so judgmental. I see Conda as a very caring person, a great mother, a great friend, and I have nothing negative to say about her. She speaks her mind and that’s it.
Question: What has been the most difficult part of being home?
Megan Stone: That would have to be getting back into a routine. On the ranch, it was very ritualistic, very routine. At home, I am off track and on my own. I had to immediately set up a schedule and get back to what I know. My typical day consists of waking up at 8 am and then running a 5 k in my neighborhood. Then, I eat breakfast, do chores, work with horses, and just try to stay busy and keep active all day long. After dinner, I meet with my personal trainer.
Question: Was the engagement a surprise and how did he propose?
Megan Stone: It was a complete surprise. He was doing romantic things for me all day long. For instance, I woke up to a dozen roses on my pillow, and he left me love notes all day long. By the end of the day, we just got done workouts and were heading to get showers and go to bed, when he told me that he had one more surprise for me. Then, he asked me to marry him!
Question: Can you give us any details of your upcoming wedding?
Megan Stone: Well, we are going to have a September wedding, so we are choosing our fall colors. I want to keep it healthy. There will be no unhealthy menu items there except, maybe for the cake, but I am going to try and get a healthy cake alternative.
Question: What was it like to ride a horse again?
Megan Stone: I was in tears, it was so much fun, and so much easier than I ever remembered it being. I guess because I am so fit now.
Question: What’s been the best thing that you can do now that you have lost all that weight?
Megan Stone: The fact that I can do so many things that I never thought I was going to be able to do. I can run a 5k every morning…I never thought I would do that before The Biggest Loser.
Question: Who do you think will win this season?
Megan Stone: I don’t know. It’s anybody’s guess. I will be happy for anyone who wins.
Best of luck to Megan, we can’t wait to see her at the finale!
