The Voice, on NBC, is launching a new voting app on Facebook Timeline. This new app will give fans a forum to discuss and interact with the show. Keep reading to find out when The Voice app will be ready to download and all the features it will have.
The singing competition The Voice has been a mega-hit since it debuted last year. The show has four major stars, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green fighting against each other to find the one star with an amazing voice. The second season of The Voice is getting excellent ratings for NBC’s Monday night timeslot, even beating out Dancing With The Stars this past week.
The Voice already incorporates social media into the show, often showing tweets the judges are sending to their followers. Then there is Christina Milian, The Voice’s own social media correspondent whose job it is to use the online experience to bring viewers closer to the show. But this season when the live shows start, NBC is planning to launch a new Facebook Timeline app that has some unique features.
On April 2nd, The Voice will have a new Facebook Timeline app that viewers can download. ”This app gives our already socially savvy fans another way to connect and share. From declaring their favorite artist to discovering friends’ preferences to interacting with more content, the app creates a fully social online voting experience,” Vivi Zigler, the President of NBC shared in a statement. The network hopes this app will provide an engaging forum for viewers to “discuss” all the details of the show with other The Voice enthusiasts.
The Voice is trying to fully engage the audience with this new Facebook Timeline app. Would you be interested in downloading The Voice app? Let us know what you think, leave a comment below.
