Dancing With The Stars is all new tonight on ABC. This is the first official theme week for DWTS and it’s about the most memorable story of the star’s life. Keep reading for more details about Sherri Shepherd’s most memorable story, which she will portray in her dance tonight!
It’s week three of Dancing With The Stars and the celebrities are getting more comfortable on the ballroom floor. This week it’s all about the celebrities most memorable moment or story in their life. To add their own personal touches, the stars get to choose the type of dance they want to perform and even pick the music.
This week Sherri Shepherd and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, have chosen to perform the rumba. So what is this View’s co-host most memorable story? Sherri didn’t choose her wedding day or a moment in her career; rather her performance is all about her son. Jeffrey is Sherri’s six year-old son and he was born premature, at only 25 weeks. Sherri tweeted her followers, “Can’t sleep…so excited to be dancing the rumba, the dance of love but in this case, my love for son Jeffrey born at 25 weeks 1lb 10 oz.” Sherri truly believes that a miracle saved her son’s life. The rumba will tell the story of how Sherri struggled with her son’s premature birth and how she had to put her trust in God.
Usually Sherri Shepherd is so upbeat and funny, it will be interesting to see a very vulnerable side to her. What will the judge’s think of Sherri’s emotional story? Tune in to DWTS tonight on ABC to find out!
