Last night, in the first Live Show of the season, artists from Teams Blake and Christina performed for viewer votes. Which of them will move on in the NBC reality competition? Who did the coaches choose to save? Get all of the highlights of The Voice Results Show after the jump.
After a performance from Gym Class Heroes backed up by Team Adam, Carson Daly reveals the top three artists on Team Blake who are safe from elimination.
America voted, and saved Erin Willett, Jermaine Paul, and RaeLynn, leaving Charlotte Sometimes, Jordis Unga, and Naia Kete to fight for a save from Blake Shelton.
For Team Christina, Jesse Campbell, Lindsay Pavao, and Chris Mann are safe, earning the most votes. Ashley De La Rosa, Moses Stone, and Sera Hill, however, each have one more chance to sing and convince Christina Aguilera that they should stay in the competition.
Singing “If I Were a Boy,” Naia Kete is the first artist to sing for a save. Blake wishes that she would’ve gone with a Reggae song, but Naia tells him there were only a few songs for her to choose from in such a short amount of time.
Up next is Charlotte Sometimes singing, “Iris,” followed by Jordis Unga, who performs “Wild Horses.”
Christina, Cee Lo, and Adam all think that Blake should save Jordis. Basing his decision solely on their last chance performances, Shelton agrees and chooses Jordis Unga to stay on Team Blake.
Team Christina’s Ashley De La Rosa takes the stage next, singing, “Paris, Ooh La La.” Afterward, Sera Hill takes on Mariah Carey‘s “Vision of Love,” as Moses Stone does his rendition of “Break Even/ Falling to Pieces.” Who will she save?
Adam and Blake are pulling for Ashley, while Cee Lo says that Sera should be saved.
With the audience screaming for the teen, Christina says she’s going with her instinct, and chooses Ashley De La Rosa.
