Last night on ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars, we watched some awesome rock week performances, and now it’s time for the results of your votes. Which star was sent packing tonight after the rock week votes were tallied? We’re certain that it is not who you think it is. Read on for all the highlights!
Dancing With The Stars kicked off the live results show tonight with a booty kicking performance of Lick It Up by the legendary KISS. Then, our spooky couple, Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff were up to hear their fate, along with Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Unfortunately, after her head injury, Melissa Gilbert was not present tonight as she was home resting, so Maks stood in alone for their team.
Both couples had no worries tonight, as they were both deemed safe this week, which was a huge shock to all of them! ABC also boasted during the break that tomorrow morning on Good Morning America, we will hear the real story of what happened to Melissa Gilbert last night, so be sure to tune in!
Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd performed once again, the same routine as last night, as Len Goodman revealed that they were the judges’ favorite last night and they wanted an encore! Maria Menounos and Derek Hough, Jaleel White and Kym Johnson, and Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus were all called to the stage to get their results next. It was no shock that Maria Menounos and Derek Hough, as well as Jaleel White and Kym Johnson were safe. What was shocking was that Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus were safe after having the lowest judges’ score last night!
Karina Smirnoff performed a routine next, and we were left wondering what was more annoying – the routines or the constant commercials? I mean, come on, we just want the dang results already! Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd, along with Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower were ready for their results, and shockingly, both of these couples had good scores last night. It was, however, Donald and Peta who were sent to safety, leaving Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower in the bottom two.
So, it was now down to William Levy and Cheryl Burke, Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy, along with Mark Ballas and Katherine Jenkins left to hear their results, but who would be deemed safe? It was no shocker that Katherine and Mark were sent to safety, and following them was Cheryl and William, leaving Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy in the bottom two!
So, it was now only Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy, along with Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower standing alone on the stage, awaiting the final results. Finally, Tom announced that the couple going home this week would be Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy! We will definitely miss Sherri’s spirit on the show each week.
