Dancing with the Stars host Brooke Burke always manages to look chic and polished, whether she is wearing a formal gown on the hit ABC show or dressed down with her kids. We spotted Brooke wearing this ultra-cool boho look at the Harajuku Mini Launch Party – and we have rounded up similar items so you can copy her casual chic style.
We have to admit we do envy Brooke Burke just a little. She is gorgeous, stylish, has four beautiful kids and an amazing career that includes hosting Dancing with the Stars and is CEO of a parenting website. Whew! While we can’t tell you how she manages to juggle everything, we can tell you how to get her chic bohemian style.
Brooke shows a little bit of skin in this shoulder-baring top, much like this Daytrip Animal Print Top from the Buckle for a budget-friendly price of $29.95. This chiffon top features a waist-whittling elasticized waistline and sexy cut-out shoulder detail.
Brooke pairs her top with skinny leg jeans, such as the Vigoss ‘Double V’ Skinny Stretch Denim ($58) from Nordstrom. Next, pull on a pair of high heeled leather boots that hit around knee level, such as the Jessica Simpson Alster boots in Whiskey Lima Leather, currently on sale for $125.99 on Zappos.
What really sets off Brooke’s bohemian look is her leather fringed bag. Copy her look with the Alternative Apparel Long Fringed Canyon Rock bag in 70’s Brown from Zappos, currently on sale for $71.99.
Brooke keeps her makeup fresh and natural, with a sheer foundation and a pink cream blush on the apples of her cheeks. One great option is Stila’s Convertible Color cream blush, available at Sephora for $25 in peony or petunia. Brush on a sheer, high shine lip gloss to give a hint of color to your skin, such as Stila’ s lip glaze ($22) in brown sugar, berry or black cherry.
The TV personality wears her hair down, in shiny layers and parted in the middle. To copy her look, apply a frizz-boosting serum, such as the bestselling Moroccan Oil ($35.97, Amazon), while hair is still wet. Blow dry with a large, round bush to smooth ends as you dry. Once your hair is dry, wrap small sections in large Velcro rollers, lightly spray with hairspray and set with warm, then cool air. After 10 minutes, take the rollers out, finger comb and part it down the middle. Finish off with a light finishing spray.
Now that you have her style down, how can you copy her enviable figure?
