Who did the coaches decide to take with them to the next phase of the NBC reality competition? Keep reading to find out everything you missed, then tell us who YOU think Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green should have sent home.
Tonight’s Results show kicked off in high gear with an electrifying performance from Voice U.K. coach Jessi J., backed up by Team Christina.
The energy in the room quickly changed, though, when Carson Daly announced the three artists who were saved by your votes — Mathai, Tony Lucca, and Pip; leaving Kim Yarbrough, Katrina Parker, and Karla Davis to sing one last time to keep their spot on Team Adam.
For Team Cee Lo, Juliet Simms, Jamar Rogers, and James Massone earned the top spots. So Cheesa, Tony Vincent, and Erin Martin will be performing yet again.
Kim Yarbrough took to the stage first, singing “Spotlight,” in hopes of convincing Adam Levine that he should keep her on the team for at least another week, followed by Karla Davis with “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” and Katrina Parker doing “Don’t Speak” by No Doubt.
The other coaches found Katrina’s performance to be the best, and Adam agreed, choosing her to remain in the competition.
Tony Vincent is the first artist from Team Cee Lo to sing for a save, with “Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This.” Cheesa takes on “All By Myself,” nearly bringing Cee Lo to tears, and Erin Martin follows with “Your Song.”
Adam, Blake and Christina, all pointing out that it’s taken way too long for the artists to give their all, agree that Cheesa blew away her teammates. Although his “mind says, ‘Tony,’” Cee Lo’s heart tells him to go with Cheesa, and he does.
