The Biggest Loser: Was Mark Cornelison One Of The Contestants Cut From The Show?

April 11, 2012 09:00 AM by Lisa Princ

Back in February, we learned that there was a protest behind the scenes of NBC‘s The Biggest Loser, where the contestants threatened to quit the show over some returning players, but the show bit back and cut two of the contestants from the remainder of the season. Since the news broke, fans have been trying to figure out who gets cut from the show, but did a cryptic piece of information indicate that Mark Cornelison was one of them? Read on for more…

The Biggest Loser fans have been trying to figure out who will be cut from the series since February, when the news broke about contestants walking off the set in protest. While most of us were hoping that it was Conda Britt who was given the boot, Mark Cornelison may have given some clues that one of the contestants may have been him!

When questioned about the drama on Twitter, Mark posted this cryptic tweet: “I had to walk away from the drama rather than care about cash/prizes. Hopefully people will understand… but know there was no protest. I am thankful for the experience and the openness of all viewers…Unfortunately this has been a drama filled season…Pray for me, standing up for what is right is not always popular…Home is good…everyone knows this, but it had to be said.”

Now, that could very well be in regards to his stance on the protest, but the one part that struck us was “home is good.” Why would he say that if he was not sent home? Could he be trying to throw fans off? Could be, but since then all of his tweets from the month of February have been taken down, probably at the hands of the show, who we are sure do not want any information leaking out. Another question remains though: if it indeed was Mark Cornelison, who went with him?

That would completely rule out the Jeremy and Conda Britt idea, but maybe it was Kim? Mark and Kim formed somewhat of a bond on the beach in Hawaii. In next week’s preview (see video below), Buddy claims “he never saw it ending this way,” while you can see Mark get up and say “I’m done.” Again, this could also be edited to make us think it is the guys who get cut. Take a look:

What do you think of all this drama? Who do you think was cut from The Biggest Loser? Luckily, we will finally get to see the drama begin to play out next week. I love hearing from all of our Biggest Loser fans! Comment and share your thoughts with us below!

I live in Mark’s town and my son attends his youth service at church in The Woodlands. Mark has been in attendance at church since February, so yeah, he’s been home for awhile now.

I hope it is Conda and Jeremy and that the producers are just trying to throw us off. That is the ONLY thing that will save this season of The Biggest Loser. Is it over yet?????

I’m thinking that yes, it is Mark…despite his Twitter account saying “Home is good”…remember, there is a difference between what we’re watching and where the contestants actually are – at this point they are all home.
The thing that bothers me is that Mark said he did it to stand up for what was right. The issue being reported is that the producers were adding a twist that would return a previously kicked off contestant back for the finale; if anyone has watched the show, they’d know that this has been done on more than one occasion and that person had to earn their way back on – Ali Vincent being one and, while their name escapes me (I’m thinking Ramone) earned his way back in a marathon last season…so this is NOTHING NEW. And what about his comment make this about ‘standing up for what’s right’? The at-home consestants are working just as hard, they are just not at the ranch; because they were voted off, they shouldn’t be able to earn a spot back? While it bothers me to comment on the game aspect of this because I really think we should be learning about the obesity epidemic, it is just a game and as far as I’m concerned Mark and Kim (my guess on contestant #2) gave up, rather than fight to keep their spot, and chose to do it in a very selfish manner and were kicked off.
Bottom line, they were given the chance of a lifetime and it saddens me that they squandered it over something so trivial.

Even if Mark is one of the two, it doesn’t mean that Conda or Jeremy aren’t the other. It hasn’t been said for sure whether the two people left voluntarily or were kicked out, so it’s possible that the show could’ve eliminated a green team member. Hopefully, anyway.

If you want a possible spoiler do a search for Conda & Jeremy Brit. There was an article about them. :(

Maybe it’s just conda that quits and mark gets eliminated. If you go to the biggest loser website and look at each of the remaining contestants facebook and see if you notice what’s missing on conda’s compared to the others.
