Judge Tosses Out Tareq Salahi’s $50 Million Lawsuit

April 12, 2012 08:00 AM by Shayla Perry

Bad news for Tareq Salahi. Not only did he lose his wife, but he also just lost his chance to become a millionaire as a Virginia judge tossed out his $50 million lawsuit against Journey guitarist Neal Schon and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Michaele Salahi of Bravo‘s Real Housewives of D.C. Keep reading for all the details!

It looks like Tareq Salahi is going to have to stop believin’ that he’s somehow going to cash in on the fact that his wife ran off with Journey rocker Neal Schon.

After he and his attorney filed the paperwork back in February — on Valentine’s Day, to be exact — Warren County Circuit Court Judge Dennis Hupop has ruled that Tareq’s lawsuit against the couple is simply “not legally sufficient” to move forward.

Did we really need a day in court to figure that out?!

According to court documents, Salahi was demanding that Schon pay him $50 million to compensate for the emotional distress he supposedly suffered when he stole his wife, Michaele. More importantly, the pending divorce ruined the so-called Salahi “brand,” which Tareq claims was in the process of inking a few television deals. For that, he wanted an additional $450, 000 in punitive damages.

Sorry Tareq. You can’t just have it any way you want it.
