The Biggest Loser: More Details About Next Week’s Drama And Walk Off

April 12, 2012 02:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Next week, we will begin to see the protest behind the scenes of NBC‘s The Biggest Loser that took place in February, where the show cut two of the contestants from the remainder of the season. We recently learned that Mark Cornelison may have been one of the contestants cut, and now we have more details on what we can expect to see in the coming weeks. Read on for more…

The Biggest Loser fans have been trying to figure out who will be cut from the series since the news broke about contestants walking off the set in protest. We recently learned that Mark Cornelison may have been one of the cut contestants, and according to one of the comments on that post, it appears that Mark would fit the bill since he has been reportedly been home attending church since February, when all the mutiny took place.

You can read the full article regarding Mark Cornelison here!

NBC has also revealed some new details about the upcoming episodes that will include all the drama. Of next week’s episode, NBC states: “This week, a surprising turn of events shakes up the competition, and the contestants compete in a rough and wild short version of a ‘Tough Mudder’ competition. But they won’t be doing it alone – with them will be the show’s three most recent winners John Rhode, Olivia Ward and Patrick House. Host Alison Sweeney helps motivate the remaining contestants by telling them the player with the highest percentage of weight loss at the weigh-in will win a Ford Escape SUV. Later, the players stroll down memory lane with the trainers and watch video journeys of how far they’ve really come from their first day on the ranch before an emotional weigh-in determines which player will walk away with a brand new car.”

What they don’t mention is that either next week or the following week, two of the finalists should also be revealed – seems a bit early, no? The finale should not take place until the 3rd week in May, or around that time.

NBC goes on to state that on the following week’s episode (April 24): “The stakes are higher than ever when all the eliminated contestants return to the ranch to compete in a fateful, four-part challenge. The challenge winner will secure a coveted spot as a finalist, and the chance to compete for the $250,000 grand prize, along with the other two finalists revealed in last week’s episode. It’s a fight to the finish with each player fiercely determined to get back in the game in a competition that will put their speed, knowledge and endurance to the ultimate test. In the end, the third finalist of season 13 will be revealed.”

Given this information, it appears that the protest was due to the fact that all the eliminated contestants returned for a shot at the finale? You have got to be kidding! Surely these folks must have seen past seasons. Bringing back past contestants is not something new to The Biggest Loser, so we can’t imagine that any of the season 13 contestants were clueless as to the possibility of that happening.

What do you think of all this drama? Who do you think was cut from The Biggest Loser? Luckily, we will finally get to see the drama begin to play out next week. I love hearing from all of our Biggest Loser fans! Comment and share your thoughts with us below!

I’m getting a little tired of the producer’s curves they throw in. I believe this will be the last time I will watch. I will watch the finalee to see how everyone does, but I’m tired of the drama.

Weeks ago, I stopped watching as the contestants repeatedly failed to evict their negative whiney little brat Conda the Anaconda and her enabler Kim. The producers focused on the whiney negative comments of Conda, and I for one couldn’t take any more of her abusive language. She was the ring leader, and all of the rest of them were probably too scared of her to send her packing. I can only hope that it’s Adrian or Daphne that are the ones that come back to claim the final seat. Conda and the rest of them can stay off the show and let the $250K and $100K awards fall to the people who deserve to be named Biggest Loser. The show had it’s better days, now it’s time to go as viewers have had enough of these abusive contestants.

This was a show of mis cast people. The casting director should be fired. this is my last season to watch bc of the bullying mainly from Conda. The show or the trainers should have put a stop to it long ago. And–are we watching a show tonight that was filmed in February??!! I knew there was a delay but 2 months?

And–the finale is going to have fat slobs in it so it seems. Conda and Jermey are still fat slobs and bless Buddy, he has a long way to go too. But I dont think he will make it to the final 3 or 4

Will the two eliminated tonight be eligible for the finale? Will the guy who quit early in the season be there?
