Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Puppet Masters

April 15, 2012 09:33 PM by Shayla Perry

This week on NBC‘s Celebrity Apprentice, after Lou Ferrigno‘s firing, the teams are uneven, so it’s time to shake things up. How will the celebs manage their task with a new team dynamic? And will Aubrey and Arsenio finally work out their differences? (Is it wrong for us to hope that they don’t?!)

Tonight, the celebs will be putting on puppet shows…for adults. Not only will they perform in the shows, but they’ll also be a part of building the puppets.

Of course, there’s that matter of uneven teams….

To Aubrey’s delight, Clay Aiken will be moving to Team Forte, where Lisa’s going to serve as Project Manager; kind of an obvious choice considering the task.

For Team Unanimous, Paul’s taking the lead, but will the team do as well without Clay? So far, they are. Even Aubrey, who’s finally being a team player. And yes, Arsenio has noticed and loves the changes. The only problem for them may end up being Paul’s back.

Right off the bat, Lisa and Dayana are at odds about what they should do for their performance, but they’re hoping to get through this ONE task without any drama. Good luck.

It doesn’t take long before Lisa offends Dayana with her “Latin puppet,” but in front of the camera, Dayana manages to pull off a pretty spot on impression of Lisa. Maybe she should’ve been given a part in the show because THAT was hilarious.

After designing their puppets – a process that has Aubrey’s head about to explode as she watches her team waste time – both groups get a few pointers on how to work the improv stage.

On the day of the show, the tension is high, as Team Unanimous tries to prep Teresa, who doesn’t seem to have a clue about what’s going on (there are two syllables in the word “seven” Teresa; two), and Team Forte is about to implode, with Lisa flipping out on Dayana for complaining about not having more of a role in the performance.

Both Dayana and Lisa are in tears, but by the time they hit the stage (well, Lisa, anyway) everyone is all smiles and Penn gets the show off to a great start, followed by an almost flawless performance from Lisa and Clay. And Dayana did a really good job of um– watching.

Team Unanimous isn’t doing quite as well, with Teresa breaking the #1 rule of improv — say, “yes” to everything. Somehow, the crowd ends up falling in love with her though. But is it enough to win over the judges?

In the boardroom, Donald Trump immediately asks Dayana and Lisa about how they got along (not wasting any time on this one, huh?). After a brief exchange, Trump asks Lisa who she’s going to bring into the boardroom if her team loses, and she breaks into tears…again, admitting that she hasn’t really decided yet. As a comedian, her goal is to make people laugh, and being a “mean girl” and making Dayana cry isn’t something that she wants to be known for.

On the other side, Paul’s not exactly having any trouble making that decision. Without too much hesitation, he says that he’d bring Teresa back to the boardroom, but Teresa quickly defends herself.

The winner of the challenge is Team Forte, meaning Lisa’s finally bringing home some cash for her charity, Gay Men’s Health Crisis.

Facing elimination, Teresa thinks that it’s Paul who should be fired, but not just because of his back, because she says he complained about being there the entire time.

After a lot of dodging questions (these people should go into politics), Teresa, Aubrey, and Paul are brought back into the boardroom.

Why not Arsenio?

Paul just has a better relationship with him than he does Aubrey. Maybe if he brought Arsenio back, he would’ve had a better chance. But he didn’t, and for that reason — and a few others– Paul is fired.

I have never been compelled to comment on any reality business. However this lamponelli lady is the epitome of a bully….the downfall of our society today. Bully….then play the victim. Pathetic excuse for a human. Whatever it is that she– repeats 20 times a show — “does for a living ” I hope that people stop supporting her after this. Take a stand against bullies people.

Lisa and Aubrey should hit the bricks, they are exhausting. I think Lisa realized that Mr.Trump was on to her as far as her trying to give Dayanna a nervous breakdown. Just the way he kept hammering at her about Dayanna I’m sure he knows. I guess Lisa thought she would save herself with tears. Except there weren’t any. And Aubrey,Miss Brilliance, hasn’t had one good idea since the show started, but we still have time.

If Lisa gets fired anytime soon the boardrooms as well as wherever the tasks are will be much quieter. For someone who does comedy for a living it sure doesn’t take much to ruffle Lisa’s feathers. She simply has it in for everyone around her. I think she’s surpassed Aubrey as the most hated woman on the show.

I have worked behind a desk with a supervisor from the time I was 18 until I was s72 (less years raising three children) I think that Mr. Trump is the fairest of all bosses – would have loved to work with him – he is fair, truthful, and listens. But last nights’ show was just plain disgraceful. The manner that the one person kept using profanities was just a bit too much for me, and as you can tell, I have been around a little while. It made my Sunday night – a real upsetting experience. Everyone would know what was being said – so sad that Lisa needs to use her mouth to her disadvantage.

Lisa has got to go… she is a horrible excuse of a human being. The way she treats those around her is pathetic. I am disappointed that Donald Trump, who seems to be a legit kinda guy, has kept her this long. I will never support Lisa in ANYTHING she does! Bring some dignity to the boardroom… fire LISA!

I think Lisa needs to go. She bullies everyone then kisses their asses. I can’t stand her and until she’s gone I don’t think I can continue watching the show. I thought Amerosa (??sp) was bad. Lisa’s as full time 100% loud mouthed bully.

Lisa is such a disruptive, destructive, vicious person that she could never be effective in any normal work environment. I think that Celebrity Apprentice needs to evaluate the winning team to see if situations like the unprovoked attack Lisa made toward Dayana and then on Penn and Clay out way any edge that team may have gained. There needs to be some type of intervention of Lisa’s agressive, foul mouthed behavior. Lisa would represent a huge liability for any business should she be in a regualar work situation. She has verbally abused everyone around her. She needs to be called on her behavior.

It’s nice to know that I am not the only one who sees Lisa for who she is…..a mean spirited, hateful, bully who must be really miserable to treat people the way she does! How can she live with herself? Every week, I think she’ll be fired, & yet, she’s still on! Lets hope she is gone tonight! She should have been fired long ago! I think Trump keeps her on for the drama….the ratings! I read comments on a message board & could not believe there were people on there loving Lisa! OMG! She is absolutely HORRID!
