This week on ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars, the contestants tackled Latin week, and fans watched as both Katherine Jenkins and William Levy set the stage on fire with their performances. However, with Latin week came some insanely colorful and distracting costumes, but whose look takes the cake as most over the top? Read on to find out!
This week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars definitely left us distracted from the actual dance routines due to the bright and vibrant costumes that many were wearing. The runner up award this week goes to Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, because honestly, pink and yellow just look gaudy together (pictured above). Melissa Gilbert donned a pink and yellow dress that was very distracting, while Maks donned a pink shirt (really Maks, pink?). Luckily for the pair, the fact that Maksim Chmerkovskiy left his shirt open was the only thing that saved this couple in the wardrobe department this week.
So who takes the cake? The award for most over the top costume this week goes to Gladys Knight hands down. Gladys’ costume was an awful shade of green, almost as if a Leprechaun got stuck in a Christmas tree. Gladys Knight’s costume was extremely distracting, which is sad because her dance moves seem to be improving, and most of us were too busy trying to prevent blindness from watching her dress. The blinding green ensemble (pictured above) was also not the most figure flattering for her, nor was it very age appropriate with the very short skirt. Check out Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus’ performance below:
