Tonight on Bravo‘s Interior Therapy, Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos head to Hollywood Hills, CA to help a husband and wife who can’t seem to agree on how to decorate their home. At first it appears that the wife is calling all the shots, but when the design duo digs deeper, the real problem surfaces….
Terri Golden moved into her husband, Don’s bachelor pad 5 years ago, but despite the animal prints and gold everything, the house still doesn’t feel like a home to her.
When Jeff and Jenni arrive, the problem seems clear: Terri needs to tone things down and give Don his balls back. But after hearing Don talk about his old bachelor pad and how he used to have things, it sounds more like Don’s the one making it difficult by clinging to the past, while Terri’s just trying to make her mark in the little ways that she can.
To help them out, Jeff decides to tackle the living room, master bedroom, and Don’s office, hoping to give him at least some space to himself; but can Don handle all the big changes? A little better than Terri handles furniture shopping, apparently.
By Day 4, there’s still a lot of work to do in each of the rooms, with Jeff’s biggest challenge being to find the right balance between Don and Terri’s tastes and to represent them both equally. That and getting rid of the horrible mouldings Don put around the archways.
After some convincing, Don’s okay with moving on, and he and his wife head to the hotel while Jeff and Jenni…um…
Unfortunately, with all of the fooling around in Don’s underwear, there’s no time to finish his office, but hopefully the baby grand piano makes up for it.
Alas, with a little TV magic (and some production assistants), the office gets finished just before the reveal and Don and Terri are amazed with the results.
