Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Success By Trump

April 22, 2012 08:38 PM by Veronica Dudo

On tonight’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice, the remaining contenders must create an in-store display and slogan for the fragrance, Success by Trump. Only seven celebrities remain in the reality TV competition on NBC. Keep reading to find out who Donald Trump fires this week!

All of the contestants are working to raise money and awareness for their charities. Each celebrity contestant on season 12 of the reality TV competition is fighting to be hired as The Celebrity Apprentice. The last one standing will have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their charity.

The remaining 7 business-savvy celebrity contestants are Aubrey O’Day, Arsenio Hall, Clay Aiken, Dayana Mendoza, Lisa Lampanelli, Penn Jillette and Teresa Giudice.

The task this week is for both teams to create an in-store display and slogan for the fragrance, Success by Trump.

Team Unanimous is made up of Aubrey, Teresa and Arsenio. The Project Manager for this task is Aubrey. The team members work together to try and figure out a concept. Aubrey says that Teresa and Arsenio can’t even handle the small errands she has asked them to do! When Eric Trump shows up to take photos for the campaign, Aubrey tells him that her team mates are useless and says she’s a “one-man team.” Later, in an effort to remind everyone she’s a team player, Teresa helps paint the props for the presentation while running around the room in her heels in true Teresa-fashion.

During the presentation Aubrey explains all of the elements of the window display. Their slogan is “Always trust your instincts.” Aubrey also introduces Arsenio and Teresa who both speak about the fragrance and give scent strips to the executives to smell.

Team Forte is made up of Lisa, Dayana, Clay and Penn. This week, Clay is the Project Manager. The team’s concept is to use a picture of Dayana holding the Trump fragrance while leaning against a male model. They use that photo as the main focus if their presentation.

During Team Forte’s presentation, Clay briefly explains their window display and shares their slogan, “You’ve earned it.” The executives tell him to continue to which he is stunned because he is done! Clay continues to talk a little more about the product.

In the boardroom, Donald Trump says that both teams did very well. Eric Trump then brings up that when he met with Aubrey, she said she was doing everything by herself. Arsenio responds by saying that he doesn’t like feeling “minimized.”

Donald Trump announces that he is going to do something different this week by giving the winner $40,000 and the rest of the contestants $10,000 each for their own charity. The Donald announces that Team Unanimous won this week’s task so Aubrey gets $40,000 for her charity.

Clay is the Project Manager so he must select two other team members to stay in the boardroom with him. Since Penn came up with the slogan–which the executives hated–Clay chooses him and Dayana to stay in the boardroom. This is Dayana’s sixth time in the boardroom and she jokes that she has broken the record! Since he came up with the slogan, Donald Trump fires Penn Jillette.

The Trumps are the epitomy of pompous. Did you see his ridiculous gold apartment? The 2 women that supposedly hated the slogan were obviously covering their collective butts. Their boss is pompous! The slogan “You earned it” was brilliant. Aiken should have been fired, not Penn. I will no longer watch this BS show.

I don’t understand why these people have such a problem with speaking up for themselves untill they get in the board room

Be careful to invest in Pearlbrite, a teeth whitening company that Teresa says she loves, loves, loves and that’s why she became an owner. First off her teeth in real life and real pictures looked just as white before she got paid by the company in stock and cash to endorse the product and now the infomercial has everyone’s teeth enhanced dgitally to make them look whiter than they really are, in turn MISREPRESENTING THE PUBLIC! Secondly, the president Leonard Tucker of the public company which is Delta Entertainment Group is a convicted felon for stock manipulation. I would hate to see anyone loose their life savings to this when Leonard Tucker(or family members) and Teresa sell their stock at the high and then the poor public loses. Be careful check out Leonard M Tucker from Boca Raton, who was chairman of FD Roberts Securities a back in the days Penny Stock brokerage firm that was linked to some not so innocent people. I guess Teresa really doesn’t love, love, love her fans if she wants them to invest in companies of this type. All Pearlbrite does is buy a generic whitener and put their label on it. You can buy the same product just different name on the internet. Teressa and others involved with the company can sell their stock at a high while the innocent public buys at a high and then the stock goes down, this is what Leonard Tucker was notorious for back before he was ban for life by the SEC for ever being involved as a stock broker so now he teams up with a person like Teressa who could care less that the public (her fans) are being taken advantage of, as long as Teressa, Leonard Tucker and his family members make money. Thank Teressa for taking care of your fans!

Donald Trump obviously decides who he wants to fire each week, then circles around putting words into the contestants’ mouths. He obviously wants Dayana in the finale and his transparency is insulting to viewers. Trump is simply a dishonest, arrogant buffoon.
