As the host of Dancing with the Stars, Brooke Burke always looks gorgeous and perfectly polished while wearing sophisticated gowns on TV. The busy mom of four was recently spotted embracing her fun side in this flirty pink dress during her Vegas magazine bash in Las Vegas. Find out how you can copy her sexy and colorful red carpet style.
Brooke Burke’s fabulous looks on Dancing with the Stars are perfectly planned out, with the on-air personality creating a fashion storyboard on her wall that are coordinated by her stylist, hair and makeup artists.
“I love fashion,” she tells Vegas magazine. “We try to keep it edgy and current and not repeat looks. There’s a lot that goes into it. You know how hard it is to create one great red carpet look? We have 22 per season, so it’s pretty ambitious.”
How can you copy Brooke’s pretty in pink look? This Twist Front Knot Dress by Michael Kors ($120, Piperlime) has the same flattering cowl neckline and gorgeous pink color as Brooke’s red carpet style.
If you are feeling shy about showing off your legs, you should consider the trendy high-low hemlines, which are shorter in the front and longer in the back. You will love the Tulip Front Tank Dress by Tinley Road in coral that has this chic assymetrical hemline(Piperlime, $44).
Brooke gives her look a little sparkle with strappy silver heels, similar to the shimmery Claire heels from Zappos ($74). Her stacked silver bangles, like these Rhinestone bangles from Forever 21 ($7.80) are a flirty look for spring. She gives her dress a polished finish with a silver clutch, similar to the Nina Leto silver clutch ($45, Zappos).
When you are showing this much leg, you want to have toned legs with a golden glow. Don’t have time to spend all day at the gym? Fake tanned and glowing legs with Philosophy’s The Big Skinny Self Tanning, Firming Cream ($28, Ulta). This cream has the best of both worlds!
The key to a polished look is paying attention to the details – so don’t forget about your feet! Rub a creamy lotion, such as Nivea Essentially Enriched lotion, on your hands and feet. Paint your nails one of this season’s hottest shades, like Brooke’s pinky coral shade, similar to this tropical fuchsia pink called Primrose Hill Picnic from Butter ($14, Sephora).
What else is the key to 41 year-old Brooke’s age defying style?
“I feel sexier today than I did as a younger woman,” she says. “I think it has a lot to do with the people you surround yourself with, your love, accomplishment, and experience. I think it’s a state of mind and a feeling and what you exude on a much deeper level.”
