A cookbook? Is that what all the drama’s about this season on Bravo‘s Real Housewives of New Jersey? Not according to Caroline Manzo. While scenes from the show’s much-anticipated premiere may have predominately been about the catty (or funny — depending on whose side you’re on) remarks in Teresa Giudice‘s book, Caroline assures viewers that her beef with T is much more complicated than that.
“I want you all to think; do I strike you as the type of person that would end a relationship over a shallow comment in a cookbook?” Caroline asks fans in her Bravo blog.
“The cookbook was the tangible piece of evidence I needed to state my case regarding all the rumors I had been hearing for months. A rumor is a rumor, nothing more, but when you see something written in black and white, there’s not denying the truth,” she writes.
That is, unless you’re Teresa.
When Caroline asked T to explain what she meant in the show’s season premiere, Teresa brushed off the comments about Caroline being “as Italian as The Olive Garden,” and the reference to her son’s car wash as if they were nothing.
“I was looked right in the face and lied to,” writes Caroline. “No accountability, no remorse. That was my ah-hah moment — the truth was revealed and I made a decision, end of story.”
Oh, but we know it isn’t!
While Caroline acknowledges that not everyone will understand her decision to cut ties with Teresa, she challenges, “Let me know in September if you agree with me. By then you will have a pretty good idea of where I’m coming from.”
By September, we’re assuming she means the point at which the last Reunion Show was taped, which will be a part of Season 4.
Sounds like we’re in for another juicy season with the Jersey Housewives!
