ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars returned last night with Motown performances, and we watched Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy take on the Viennese Waltz. While their performance was good, Melissa and Maks were shown having some issues during rehearsals, and the couple are not happy about it! Read on for more.
Last night on Dancing With The Stars, fans watched as Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy bickered during their rehearsals, and even though Melissa told the fans last night that they had a good time during practice, the pair are still annoyed at the show’s editing. Melissa and Maks sat down with US Weekly after the show, where Maksim told them: This was the most fun week we’ve had. We maybe had 3-4 percent of the time that was bad – this is week six! What do you expect?”
Melissa Gilbert added that it annoys her because: “It’s frustrating but it’s also silly. It’s counterproductive because I don’t get the point of it. It’s ridiculous, we disagree sometimes, but more often than not it benefits me because looks what happens!” Ouch! Come on though, we all know why they edit like that – for the drama which bumps up the ratings.
Coming from Maksim Chmerkovskiy, those comments were mild as Maks is known for his harsh no-nonsense attitude, and we are all waiting for him to explode again this season…admit it, you love it when he does! Maksim kept his cool though, and went on to gush about his partner, adding: “This woman is amazing. She’s bionic. And we’ve overcome so much already.”
