Tonight on The Voice, after a stellar evening of performances from the eight remaining contestants, your votes (and a few percentage points from their coaches) have determined which artists will be moving on to next week’s finals. Who will be representing Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera in the last round of the NBC competition?
Finally, after weeks of Blind Auditions, Battles, and a number of eliminations, the last member of each team has been decided.
In addition to your votes, after last night’s performances, coaches Adam, Blake, Cee Lo, and Christina split 100 percentage points between their two artists to determine who will move on and represent them in next week’s final.
Following a performance from Season 1 runner-up Dia Frampton and Kid Cudi, Chris Mann and Lindsey Pavao are brought center-stage. With Christina splitting her points 50-50, America decides that Chris will be Team Christina’s finalist next week.
Cee Lo and his Season 1 finalist, Vicci Martinez take the stage to perform, then Katrina Parker and Tony Lucca come forward to learn their fate.
Adam has given Katrina 40 points, and 60 to Tony, going against what Christina asked him to do last night. With the audience vote, it’s official, Tony Lucca is going to the finals.
Next, Beverly McClellan and Cyndi Lauper perform, followed by Season 1 winner Javier Colon.
Then, Erin Willett and Jermaine Paul find out that while their coach has evenly divided the percentage points, America has decided that Jermaine is headed to next week’s finals.
Cee Lo has split his points 60-40, giving Juliet Simms more points than Jamar Rogers based on their last performances. And with America’s vote, Juliet is repping the Red Zone next week.
What do you think of the four finalists? Are you surprised by the outcome of the votes? Who do you think will win it all — Tony, Jermaine, Chris, or Juliet?
