That awkward vibe coming from Christina Aguilera on The Voice? Yeah, Tony Lucca‘s noticed it, too. But despite all the hater-ade Christina’s apparently been sippin’ on, the finalist on the NBC reality show says that he’s ready to move past all the drama, apologizing to his fellow contestants for the distractions their tiff has caused this season.
Their relationship (or lack thereof) has gotten a lot of attention in the media this season; the kind of attention that’s usually reserved for Aguilera and Adam Levine. But what does Tony Lucca think of all the buzz about him and Christina?
“[It's] sort of been like a dark cloud over the whole season and for the other contestants that has not been entirely fair. So I apologize for my role in it,” Lucca told CNN backstage during last night’s show.
“There’s an aspect to this whole gauntlet that I won’t miss,” Tony added, admitting, “It was a little disappointing to go from this reunion thing on air to going to getting some pushback, so I will be happy I won’t have to deal with that anymore. …I’m ready to move past it.”
Will the drama be acknowledged during tonight’s season finale? Is it wrong for us to hope that it is; even if we know we’re going to get a bunch of pageant responses from everybody involved?
