Excuse us as we try to collect ourselves after last night’s emotional finale of The Voice (at least the last 3 minutes of it, anyway…Thanks a lot Justin Bieber!). But with Jermaine Paul‘s surprising win, and then the tears…Blake Shelton‘s “You did it!” And that part when Jermaine sang while he was holding his wife and…. Okay, you’ll just have to see it. Watch the clip after the jump, but first — you’ll want to grab some tissues.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room after Jermaine Paul was declared the winner of Season 2 of NBC‘s The Voice. And while many consider it an upset that Team Cee Lo’s soulful rocker Juliet Simms didn’t walk away with the top prize, you’ve got to admit that the emotional ending made the results of the extremely close vote a little easier to swallow. Besides, you know that Juliet’s going to come out with a kick-ass album soon anyway.
But, back to that moment….
Words don’t do it justice, so we’ll just let you watch. You know, in case you were still boycotting the show and didn’t see it live.
What do you think RTVM — Are you happy (or at least at peace) with Jermaine Paul winning Season 2 of The Voice? Do you think that the drama between Christina Aguilera, Adam Blake, and Tony Lucca had any impact on the results?
