Last night on American Idol, the Top 4 were reduced to the 3, when it was revealed that Hollie Cavanaugh was being eliminated. It was obviously an emotional moment for Hollie, but who cried more – she or Joshua Ledet, her best friend on the show? According to Hollie Cavanaugh, she was the one consoling Joshua after the show stopped taping. Read on for more!
America was not shocked last night when Hollie Cavanaugh was eliminated from American Idol, but according to Hollie, Joshua Ledet took the news pretty hard. “I saw him crying, and he was like, ‘I love you. I love you.’ I was like, ‘I know.’ I don’t know why that boy is crying. I’m gonna see him in a few days. Stop crying,” Hollie Cavanaugh told People Magazine last night about her dear friend, Joshua Ledet.
While the elimination caught Joshua Ledet off-guard, Hollie was not surprised by it. She told reporters today: “There was definitely something different about that Thursday. I’m not sure what it was, but I guess it was just my gut telling me. I was preparing myself for it, but at the same time staying hopeful because you never know what could happen. I’m not quite sure what the feeling was, but it was just different than every other Thursday.”
Now that she has been eliminated, who does Hollie Cavanaugh think will take home the crown? She revealed that she can’t pick a winner because she loves them all: “Phillip is very unique. I mean, the way he performs, you don’t see a lot of people perform like that. He has his very own style and his voice is amazing. Josh, he takes you to a whole other place when he sings. He amazes everybody each week. Jessica is only 16 and the way she sings…she sounds like she’s in her 20′s! She’s amazing.”
