It started with 18 new castaways who were divided into two tribes based on gender. But the big twist of Survivor: One World forced both tribes to live together on the same beach. After weeks of drama, betrayal and watching goofy castaways make bad decisions, the show finally comes to a close this Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. What can you expect from the final episode? Read on to find out!
The night begins with the taped portion of the two-hour finale, which leads up to the live reveal of the winner from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Immediately following, Jeff Probst will host the one-hour live reunion show where I’m sure we will get to hear plenty of comments from Colton Cumbie, everybody’s least-favorite villain. At the end of the reunion show, Probst will announce the location/premise for the upcoming 25th season — which has already wrapped up filming and set to premiere this September (read more below).
I will be there in the audience and then on the red carpet to interview each of the final five castaways immediately after the finale wraps up. If you have any questions you absolutely want me to ask Chelsea, Kim, Alicia, Sabrina or Christina, sound off and leave a comment below!
(Potential spoiler!) Strong rumors on multiple fan sites indicate the 25th season will feature three tribes, each with one returning player. Those players are supposedly Michael Skupin, the guy best-known for falling in the fire during Survivor: The Australian Outback; Jonathan Penner from Survivor: Cook Islands and Survivor: Micronesia — Fans Vs. Favorites; and Russ Swan from Survivor: Samoa. These three guys have one major thing in common having each been evacuated from the game.
