In case you’re a little confused about what you saw on VH1 last night, no, that wasn’t a documentary on bullying amongst grown women, it was actually an episode of Basketball Wives. Since it began, we’ve been used to the drama and the occasional fighting between the cast members, but after everything that went down between Tami Roman and Keisha Nichols, and the whole “dead fish prank,” we’re starting to wonder: Has the show finally gone too far?
Throwing wine bottles at people, jumping across tables, and stealing purses?! Is this Basketball Wives or a flashback of a really bad high school experience?!
After last night’s episode, we’re having a little trouble telling the difference.
While the show remains a guilty pleasure for many of us, the ladies’ (and we’re using that term loosely these days) antics are getting a little out of hand. Okay, a LOT out of hand.
What happened to Shaunie O’Neal wanting to show more of the positive things that the women do for charities? Now it seems that she’s more involved in all of the pettiness than she was before!
Is it time for Shaunie and company to just put an end to the madness and get rid of the show altogether — you know, for the greater good? Or do you think they should look for some different ‘Wives to come back next season with more drama minus the bullying? Sound off in the Comments section below.
