Katherine Jenkins has been a front-runner on ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars since the very first episode this season. Last night however, the Opera singer suffered a mishap during her second routine, leaving her fighting back tears, but was it just an excuse to cover up her mistake, or was she really injured? Read on for more…
Last night on the semi-finals of Dancing With The Stars, Katherine Jenkins appeared to make a mistake on final dance, but the mood then shifted as Katherine appeared to be suffering a back injury. Did a back injury cause the mistake, or was she just trying to cover her arse? “I’m with the Doctor, he says it was a reflectorical spasm in my lower back,” Katherine Jenkins posted on Twitter about her mishap last night.
Katherine’s partner, Mark Ballas also took to Twitter to explain the incident, but he made sure that he mentioned voting as well. “Katherine hurt her back, I tried my best not let her fall at the end. Hope we still have ur votes,” Ballas posted after apologizing for not performing the routine perfectly. We get that Katherine Jenkins has been rocking the dance floor since the show’s premiere, but could one mistake send her home before the finale?
She seemed sincere as she continued to apologize to everyone, playing off the “injury” last night. Could it be that it was just a cover up for messing up the routine? One final attempt to get some sympathy votes? Help us decide, because we are torn!
Take a look at the routine below, and let us know what you think!
