Dancing With The Stars: Is Kate Gosselin Returning To The Ballroom?

May 16, 2012 01:00 PM by Megan Thompson

Dancing With The Stars has announced it will have its first all-star season.  After 14 seasons, the hit ABC show has a lot of stars to choose from.  So which stars are on the top of the list to return to the ballroom?  Keep reading for all the DWTS details.

The rumor is true, Dancing With The Stars is indeed having an all-star season.  “We can’t talk about the casting yet, but I’d love to see some of the fan favorites from the past seasons come back,” Paul Lee (President of Entertainment for ABC) told reporters on Tuesday.

The DWTS news isn’t a shocker, since there have been a ton of hints and slips by possible stars. Back in April, Mario Lopez told Kelly Ripa that he was in talks to come back to the show.  Mel B, former Spice Girl, and Kyle Massey have also been rumored to join the all-star cast. “We’re out casting now, and I hope we come in with a really interesting cast of people who our audience is passionate about,” Lee shared.

It will definitely be interesting to see who DWTS recruits and which stars agree. Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin and Chaz Bono were very controversial on the show.  Could one of these stars make a comeback?

Let us know who you would and wouldn’t want to see on the all-star season of Dancing With The Stars, leave us a comment below.

I agree. Please noooooo! It detracts from the fun of the show to have one so outside the curve in terms of likability and talent.

If kate Gosselin is on the show, I will definitely NOT watch. I never understood why she was on the show in the first place. It is called Dancing With The Stars, she was not a star. she was an annoying 15 minute public figure, not even a celebrity, except of course in her own mind. I dont buy in to this womans crap. I do, however, feel sorry for her kids. What a lunatic!

By all means bring back the stars, but Kate Gosseling is no Star.
She is a hysterical housewife and Dancing with the Stars was a miserable show to watch that year she was in it.

    How about Melissa
Rycroft? As I remember, her Argentine tango was a show stopper.

not Kate Gosselin–she made the show into a joke. Totally turned me off and I had been a real fan of the show. DWTS is getting it’s credibility back, don’t go backwards and have ridiculous people on just for the ‘contraversy’ because it really does take a long time to get some viewers back.

Heck no she ain’t coming back. If anything she is blacklisted from the show. Her horrendous dancing was only exceeded by her horrific treatment of everyone else on set.

NO!NO! No one wants her on the show! At least the majority! She was a terrible dancer and a terrible, pathos personality! She has some serious esteem issues. I don’t think DWTS will invite her back. Even her dance partner slammed her!

I agree with everyone saying NOOOOOOO!!!

I agree with not bringing Kate Gosselin back, not because of who she is though. I would like to see those that really had some talent return for the all star edition. When I watch this kind of show I am looking to be excited by the talent or the ability of the characters to develop skills, not to watch someone flounder. Kate even said at the time that she was honored to be invited but felt that her skills were not up to standard.

If they bring back Kate Gosselin, I will be so DONE with DWTS. Nobody wants to see her back on television anywhere. She is such a witch, has no dancing skills whatsoever. She has no talent of any kind. You use to have to have talent for tv. I guess that is null and void nowadays. NO KATE PLEASE!

If I want to watch comedy, I can watch Seinfeld reruns. No,no,no,no,no,no Kate Gosselin. She is a nobody. I sure wouldn’t watch.
