Interior Therapy Recap: Jeff Lewis, Meet Your Match!

May 16, 2012 09:38 PM by Shayla Perry

It’s the season finale of Bravo‘s Interior Therapy, so you know what that means… Almost time for more Flipping Out! That’s not to say that we didn’t enjoy watching Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos interact with all of these lovely homeowners and rummage through their underwear drawers; and seeing Mark Decarlo giving Jeff a taste of his own medicine, but this entire season was missing something….

Comedian Mark Decarlo and his girlfriend Yeni were the lucky homeowners featured in tonight’s season finale of Interior Therapy, but the scenario was quite familiar: Another couple where it’s the guy’s house that the girlfriend moved in to and wants to have it feel like home. Except this time, Mark’s already been through 2 years of construction, having completely remodeled the house.

And because of those renovations, there were a lot of limits on what Jeff could actually do to the house. The walls couldn’t be painted, most of the furniture couldn’t be moved….

The only thing that was really left (other than the closet) was the backyard.

As usual, there was the talk about who has the control in the house (Mark) and whose needs Jeff will try to meet in the design (Yeni), and of course…the shopping trip.

This time, it was Jeff that was sparring with the homeowner though.

And the winner was…Mark!

After battling over the size of the spa, they decide on the bigger one, only to later find out that it’s too big for the yard. Guess they should’ve listened to Jeff, because the one they picked out ends up being so big that they can’t even get it in the yard with a crane!

With a little teamwork (okay, a LOT of teamwork), the hot tub makes it into the yard, but 4 hours before the reveal, there still isn’t any electricity.

They manage to get it going, but they definitely cut it close, leaving about 30 minutes to get all of the furniture staged before Mark and Yeni get back from the hotel.

And do we really need to bother telling you that they loved the finished product?!

Tell us, what did you think of Interior Therapy? Would you like to see the show back for another season?

I think it is Reseda Discount pottery and Fountains. If you click on the Video tour it shows the dolphins that wre shooting the water.

The wholesaler is Homestone imports e in Chicago. You can send them an email (homestoneimports.com) and they will tell you who distributes their pebble fountains in your area.

Discount Pottery in Reseda is indeed where the scenes were shot. Went there yesterday after we finally found this link. They are annoyed that Bravo did not say or post who they were. They had promised to do so. Great selection of fountains and very friendly staff Thanks for lead, Rick.

Thanks again to our readers for the info! @CJ, If I were one of the owners I’d be upset too. Especially after they spent all of that time splashing water everywhere…and not even a mention on the show’s website?! The design programs definitely need to do a better job of letting viewers know where they can get the items they see on TV.
