Chelsea Meissner was the country cutie on Survivor: One World who started off the season by catching several chickens with her bare hands. She made it all the way to the final three, but didn’t receive a single vote from the jury, which ultimately gave Kim Spradlin the title of sole Survivor and the $1 million prize that goes with it. Immediately after the live reunion show at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Chelsea talked with me on the red carpet and she explained how being on Survivor was right up her alley, discussed why she thinks nobody voted for her to win and offered her thoughts on Kim’s victory. Read on to see my exclusive one-on-one interview with her!
After catching the chickens herself, Chelsea said she was thinking, “Maybe I am the redneck girl out here. I better just live this up while it lasts.” Having grown up on a farm, Chelsea already had plenty of outdoor experience that helped get her to the end of the game.
But this was just a small morsel of everything we talked about. To hear everything else Chelsea had to say about her time on the show, watch our exclusive video below:
What do you think of Chelsea’s comments from the interview? Are you surprised she didn’t get a single vote from the jury? Do you think she deserved to win the game? Sound off and leave a comment below!
