Last night, season 14 of Dancing With The Stars came to a close as Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd snagged the mirror ball trophy, after what was one of the best seasons to date. So, how is Donald feeling about his big win? Why, he is on cloud nine of course! More after the jump!
The mirror ball trophy was not Donald Driver‘s first big win, as the NFL star won the Super Bowl in 2011 with his team, The Green Bay Packers, but how does this one compare? The feeling is the same, and “You have great moments throughout both experiences,” Donald told People Magazine last night after the show. The biggest difference between the two? “It took me 13 years to win a Super Bowl. But it only took me one season to win a mirror ball,” Donald Driver continued.
The NFL star turned booty shaker went on to reiterate how great he felt last night: “I’ve been watching the show for a long time and now I know what J.R. felt last year. That is truly something special. I feel the same way. Right now I’m on cloud nine.” So, what does Donald Driver plan to do now that the show is over? It’s obvious that he is a family man who loves his family unconditionally, as he added: “We’re going to spend as much time together as we can. That’s what you have to do, because my family has been behind me the whole time.” And that family time will include taking his children and wife on a Disney cruise!
Kudos to Donald Driver for taking home the win, and keeping the show Dancing With The Stars, not Dancing With The Who The Heck Are You? What do you think of the results? Comment and share your thoughts with us below!
