This week on The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard narrowed her pool of suitors down, kicking Joe Gendreau to the curb. Emily recently defended her decision, while Joe spoke to reporters about the experience, and his time on the show. What did he have to say? Read on to find out!
So, what does it feel like to get the boot from Emily Maynard? Joe Gendreau has no regrets about his experience, but he did tell reporters why he feels like he was sent packing: “We just really didn’t hit it off with each other. We were at kind of different places in our lives. I was a single, kind of free spirited individual. I think she was looking for someone more settled and in a way maybe more committed, whether it be family or work or just looking for that.”
Would Joe change anything if he could back? “No – after she made her decision I was content with that and wanted to move on and I wish her the best. I think when someone makes up their mind emotionally, that’s a decision that feels right and I respect that,” he said, adding: “I mean, whether she made the right decision or not is kind of on her, but for my part I was really happy with everything that happened, and I was able to put myself out there and we just didn’t really click too well.”
Who does Joe Gendreau think will win Emily’s heart in the end? His money is on Jef Holm!
