May 28, 2012 11:45 AM by Lisa Princ

The new season of Hell’s Kitchen has not even started yet, and already Gordon Ramsay is dealing with his fair share of hell – sort of. While at a recent charity soccer event, the superstar chef was taken off the field in a stretcher. What happened and how is our favorite profanity slinging chef holding up now? Read on for all the details!

Gordon Ramsay, our favorite fiery chef from Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef, and Kitchen Nightmares was playing in the fourth Soccer Aid event this weekend, when he collided with fellow player, Teddy Sheringham, and had to be taken off the field and out of the event on a stretcher. While the collision may have startled Ramsay, and those watching, after a trip to the hospital, Chef Ramsay is going to be just fine.

Gordon wrote on his Twitter account earlier, assuring fans that he was fine as he posted: “Thanks for the messages. Out of the hospital after receiving amazing care. Bit sore, but fine.” Check out the video footage:

The event, which raises money for Unicef, an organization that helps children in very poor countries, was full of celebrities and soccer stars. Among Gordon Ramsay’s team mates were Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, and Woody Harrelson.

We’re glad to hear that Gordon Ramsay is going to be just fine after the shakeup. Now we can’t to see him on the new seasons of Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchef!
