Pint-Sized Rapper’s America’s Got Talent Audition Goes Viral

June 02, 2012 06:29 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

Everyone loves to hate Justin Bieber, Greyson Chance and all the other teeny-bopper phenoms. Their songs are so cheesy, and yet, so, so catchy. 13-year-old rapper Chris Miles appears to be the newest sensation. With a Bieber-inspired haircut and a surprising amount of swag, this little guy is capturing hearts in his quest to be on America’s Got Talent. Read more to learn about Chris Miles’ America’s Got Talent audition video.

You gotta hand it to Chris Miles: he is one ambitious kid.  In a recently submitted audition video for America’s Got Talent, the teen provides a quick introduction: “What’s up America’s Got Talent? My name is Chris and I go by Chris Miles. I’m a 13-year-old rapper; I write and record my own lyrics.” In Dial Tone, the song that follows this introduction, Chris Miles reveals a hidden swagger that nobody would suspect, given his cutesy appearance.

Dial Tone is certainly drawing attention from a dedicated group of super-fans. With over 300,000 views on World Star Hip Hop and another 45,000 on YouTube (in three days to boot) this guy just might be the new teen idol. But all he really wants is a shot at America’s Got Talent. If Sharon Osbourne and Howard Stern love him half as much as his dedicated fans, this guy just might make it on TV.

Check out Chris Miles’ viral video for the song Dial Tone. Does he deserve to be featured on America’s Got Talent? Share your thoughts below!
