She’s come a long way since The Real Housewives of New York City (even longer since competing to be Martha Stewart‘s Apprentice), and now, Bravo‘s golden girl, Bethenny Frankel is set to bring her brand to daytime TV on a new talk show. But with Oprah out of the way (sad, but true) and having recently received Ellen DeGeneres‘ seal of approval, could the Skinnygirl be the next Queen of Daytime TV?
Okay, so maybe it’s not a real title, but there’s definitely some power and prestige that comes with ruling daytime TV. Don’t believe us? Just ask Oprah. That is, if you even know where OWN is on your television.
Ellen has had her share of the power too, dancing her way into everyone’s living rooms and hearts. But now, we’re definitely reading for someone new to take over. And that somebody just may be Bethenny Frankel.
She’s already conquered reality TV and the liquor business, practically simultaneously, has a shape wear line, health food, workout DVDs, and currently is Skinnydipping her way into the fiction department of bookstores everywhere.
Eventually, there has to be some Bethenny backlash, right?
Right now, the show, which is set to premiere next week, will be broadcast in limited cities, with a chance of being picked up for national syndication, so we’ll have to see!
