Superstar chef Gordon Ramsay, wine maker Joe Bastianich, and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot return tonight for season three of the culinary smash hit MasterChef on Fox. This season’s amateur cooks are heating up the kitchen! ”We have some extraordinary cooks. Some amazing palates! I thought last year was good, but this one is quite amazing,” Gordon Ramsay tells MSN TV. Keep reading for all the details – including a MasterChef first!
Each season, Gordon Ramsay and his team scour the country looking for the best amateur cooks.
The best of the best will be brought to Los Angeles for a chance to prepare their signature dishes for the judges. As always, the judges will evaluate their dishes for flavor, presentation, and creativity. Edible food is a plus, but the hopefuls must ooze passion for their craft and prove they have the drive to win.
Only those who place themselves above the rest will earn a coveted white apron and head to the next round, one step closer to becoming the next Masterchef!
MasterChef season 3 includes the show’s first blind contestant. Christine, 33, lost her vision at 19 to a rare autoimmune disease called Neuromyelitis optica.
“She has been producing food that could equally match any of our restaurants — and that’s not because anyone’s playing the sympathy card,” Gordon Ramsay insists. “This woman cooks like an angel. Extraordinary. There’s no disability. She feels her way around ingredients.”
Will she be the last one standing? Watch MasterChef tonight, Monday, June 4, and tomorrow night, Tuesday, June 5 on FOX!
