Jessica Simpson’s yo-yoing weight has been played out in front of the press time and time again. This time, the pre-pregnancy weight gain was more than legitimate, but it still drew some criticism from the media. Simpson is now ready to shed the extra pounds. A common problem women face following pregnancy is the struggle to lose baby weight. Singer, actress and Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson is no different. She put on a fair amount of weight while she was carrying her beautiful baby and now she’s eager to shed those pounds.
It would suck big time to have the ups and downs of your weight broadcast to (and criticized by) the rest of the world. But instead of sulking, Jessica Simpson is taking advantage of the sitution, documenting her weight loss journey with Weight Watchers.
One of Jessica’s friends chatted with In Touch Weekly about Jessica Simpson’s weight loss effort. According to this friend, Jessica has recruited a group of close friends to help her lose weight. “[Jessica] has about eight of her friends forming their own weight- loss group…she wanted to have fun losing the weight, so they are all doing it together.” This sounds like a healthy attitude towards weight loss, something much of Hollywood definitely lacks. Hopefully, with the support of her friends and the Weight Watchers program, Jessica Simpson will be able to drop the baby weight while maintaining a healthy and happy lifestyle.
