One by one, the child stars of Toddlers and Tiaras are leaving the show that made them famous in the first place. The latest pageant princess to bid farewell to the TLC reality show? Isabella Barrett. Read on to learn why Isabella’s mom has lost her enthusiasm for Toddlers and Tiaras.
With the news of Honey Boo Boo Child’s own spin-off reality show, it was only time before another Toddlers and Tiaras mother decided to cause a media spectacle. This time, it’s miniature diva Isabella Barrett departing the TLC hit reality show for bigger and better things. Or, at least, that’s what Isabella’s mother claims.
Stage mom Susanna Barrett recently told E! News that while she loves the pageant world, she has had second thoughts about the whole Toddlers and Tiaras setup. ”We don’t believe pageants are bad, but we believe the way it is portrayed on Toddlers & Tiaras is…we no longer want to be associated with the show.” Susanna wanted to show that she and her daughter were “different” from all the other crazies that draw so much negative attention to the pageant circuit. All in all, an interesting perspective from a mom who allowed her daughter to sing along to LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It in front of an audience at a pet charity dinner.
Of course, ambitious little Isabella Barrett is not finished with TV stardom. Nope, she’s already got her own reality gig lined up on German TV. And as for Toddlers and Tiaras? Well, they have plenty of other little divas ready to take her place.
