Last week, Love in the Wild season 2 hit NBC with new host Jenny McCarthy. The show starts with seven men and seven women who compete in challenges in the wild jungle and swap partners, if they choose, on a weekly basis. Some contestants are truly looking for love and some are just looking for a wild romp in the jungle. Sounds like a perfect recipe for drama, tears, and guilty pleasure summer TV, doesn’t it? The second episode airs tonight, and at least one contestant ends up in tears after her hand-picked boy toy tells her he isn’t feel any sparks. Spoiler ahead!
Shauna chose Ryan and Christian as her partners last week. Shauna pushed way too hard during the competition and whined too much during the sleeping, and Christian was immediately turned off by her personality. Ryan made an effort to get to know her but so did another contestant, Mike. Mike wooed Shauna while they sipped coconut water on the beach. Unfortunate for him, he turned her away by pushing for a kiss and talking game too soon.
At the end of the week, Shauna kept Ryan and sent Mike packing. Was it the right decision? Watch this sneak peek video to find out.
Ryan isn’t feeling any sparks and Shauna is reduced to tears.
Was she really expecting to find her “Prince Charming” in the first week? She voices some regret over letting Mike go. While it did seem like Shauna and Mike had a natural connection, he came across as a total player. Doubtful choosing Mike would have made much of a difference in Shauna’s quest for Love in the Wild.
Tune into Love in the Wild on NBC tonight to see what happens to Shauna now, how the other couples are fairing, and what crazy challenges and twists Jenny throws at them this week.
