Bristol Palin for president?! Not quite (phew!). But in a recent interview, ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars alum revealed that she hasn’t ruled out following in her mom’s famous footsteps with a political career of her own…just not any time soon. Though her future in politics is uncertain, one thing is clear for the 21-year-old single mom: she’s already regretting signing on for her new Lifetime reality series, Bristol Palin: Life’s A Tripp; and it hasn’t even premiered yet! All the details after the jump.
Bristol Palin’s new docuseries, Life’s a Tripp is set to premiere on Lifetime on June 19th, but she’s already having regrets about starring in her own show.
“If I would have known it was own name and so much in my life is gonna be shown on this show, I think I would reconsider it and think about it more,” Palin tells FOX News’ Sean Hannity.
As for a career in politics like her mom, Sarah Palin, that, she’s still considering…just not very seriously at this point.
“I don’t think I’d shut it [out] completely yet,” says Bristol, adding, “I’m only 21, but not any time soon.”
She didn’t give any hints as to whether or not her mother would be seeking public office again, but Bristol tells Hannity: “We all have tough skin. We’re all strong. Our roots are very grounded. Whatever she does, we’re going to support her.”
